Sunday Prototype – 02/24/14 – The Skinth Mean Green Machine
This week we are showcasing a battle tested Skinth. Already seen a week of use, the Skinth Mean Green Machine was used to transform a benign space into a one huge party environment.
When the call came to make Skinth to carry a couple odd sized objects we got to looking at our patterns to see what we could do. The Skinth MGM is a modified Skinth Catch All with a few features that we think are pretty snazzy.
Shortening the front flap of the Catch All, we could install some elastic webbing on the front for a utility knife.
We are never one to waste space so remaining space on the front flap was perfect for a row of elastic webbing for markers and pencils.
The MGM, at 4.5″ wide, a double belt loop for stability and weight bearing was installed. A couple of smaller tubes allow for a small AAA flashlight and a compact folding hack saw.
In the side tubes, a BO Leatherman Wave and a folding utility knife. In the heart of the MGM is a compact 16 ft measuring tape. Unseen here is a bundle of nitrile gloves and some replacement utility blades.
Backed by our PentaPocket, the side tubes are supported by a smoke Piranha tool and a single Leatherman bit card.
That’s all for this week!
Stay tuned for a mid week post about some exciting ‘bright’ news!
