Sunday Prototype – 09/09/12 – The Skinth First Responder II
MKIIs are always better. We took the Skinth First Responder and revamped it thanks to some suggestions, testing and trial and error. Adding some features here, alterating some things there and we have the new FRII. Best of all, it’s ready for custom colour order.
The Skinth First Responder II is newly redesigned EMT/ParaMed/IFAK belt pouch.
Coming standard with a 2″ Black NIckel Plated Belt clip, the First Responder rides low (aside from the shear handles) on the belt.
The newly redesigned shear pocket reduces the bulk of a strap in favour of a loop to retain the shears. This new design allows the user to keep the shears ready to use (the loop left open) or buckle them up for security.
Taking a lesson from our Atomick Skinth Sunday Prototype, we added the additional .5″ front tubes to the FRII for slim AAA pen lights, screw drivers, Sharpie pens or regular pens.
Two 2″x2″ pockets up front hold antiseptic wipes, CPR shields or quick bandages.
The side tube pockets also can hold a smaller Leatherman Juice sized tool or a medium sized folding knife.
Inside the main compartment, a full sized tool can be held as well as an iPhone or a smaller cell phone.
The downward opening side tube remains a staple to the FRII and is just as easy to open as before thanks to a matching 550 Paracord loop.
