Sunday Prototype 04/21/12 – The Skinth PP (Production Pair)

This week’s Sunday Prototype is a bit of a double hitter since last week we didn’t post anything. So here’s a two for one: The Skinth PP (Production Pair).  This little but helpful pair of Skinths helps us measure, mark, cut and organize Skinth orders. Draped in MilSpec ACU Digital Camo 1000D Cordura, these guys are built like a brick house.
Belt clips help keep the pair safely at our side while maintaining a low profile.
The small Skinth PP is a dump pouch for small binder clips for clipping fabric to orders. The large, open top Skinth PP holds a Sharpie, a Space Pen, marking pencil, highlighter, SRM 704 for sharpening the marking pencil, a 6″ ruler and a customized 45mm rotary cutter.
The Production Sharps. The typical yellow rotary cutter has been sprayed with black and then wrapped in a ACU Digital Camo, gutter Paracord. We are waiting for a ACU Digital Camo Swiss Army Knife Huntsman, for now a SRM 704 with matching lanyard will do. Tactical? Unnecessary? Of course!
Based on the Skinth XL, the Skinth PP negates the need for a closing flap as reholstering items is much more important than security.
Keep on cutting forward!
